About Us

Our mission Statement:

Freeze Haven: Stress free food preserved for when people need it the most.

Mission.

The mission of Freeze Havens is to alleviate hunger during natural disasters, to the impoverished, and in need. We accomplish this by soliciting, collecting, growing, freeze drying, and packaging food for distribution through a network of agencies and programs.  Our services include a food freeze drying program, emergency food program, and a regenerative farm that provides opportunities for self-sufficiency activities for minorities.

What does this mean to us?

Here at Freeze Haven we strongly believe in Humanity. No matter who you are or what you have been through, you deserve to eat. During these times we all face a big threat of our own wrong doings. NASA and many other reliable sources have claimed that global warming will increase tropical storms and many other natural disasters will intensify suck as fires. We at Freeze Haven knows the people need help financially even more now with pandemic.

Do you know the percentage of people in America who can’t afford to feed themselves? That’s America alone, now with most of the world living under 2$ a day how can we expect our fellow humans to have food reserved? Here at Freezer Haven we promise to give and give and give food out! That is preserved and ready to last up to 25 years. We strive to treat all humans as humans and we strive to provide food for as many as we possibly can.

Executive Summary

Freeze Haven is a tax-exempt not-for-profit food bank that serves all over America and beyound.  Freeze Haven’s goal is to alleviate hunger by soliciting, collecting, growing, freeze drying and packaging food for distribution through a network of servicing agencies and programs that serve during national emergencies. Our services include food freeze drying programs, emergency food programs, and a farm that brings opportunities for education, healing and rebuilding to workers who love their jobs. Freeze Haven receives support from the county, grants, charitable organizations, individuals and corporate sponsorship.

According to the CDC long term food storage is needed during national disasters. Our client base are people in need, who need emergency help to put food on their tables while rebuilding. Freeze Haven can operate a food warehouse facility where we store freeze dried foods/meals, donated or cultivated on our farm for distribution.  The program actively solicits food from local food growers, retailers, wholesalers, and processing plants. In addition, Freeze Haven collects unsold food donations from restaurants for freeze drying.

It is estimated by NASA that, ”extreme storms may increase 60 percent by the year 2100..“ with global warming on the rise we will be expecting more intense disaster than ever before in recorded history. With tropical storms growing stronger and a number of unprepared families are increasing in America due to Covid-19 we need to step up. A number of programs exist to help transition these destroyed communities and rebuild. Freeze Haven is an important resource to these programs because we can respond quickly with food that stays good up to 25 years which is one of the most important resources these families need. Food!

Our services improve the ability of families to rebuild and achieve goals with becoming self-sufficient in mind. Freeze Haven’s services, now, are a small investment in comparison to the cost of ignoring the problem of hunger in the county and the influence it has on a number of health and crime issues.
